UAW Local 833

On January 28th, 2021, Local 833 held the 1st ever in-plant/drive thru Brat Fry. We can't thank everyone that supported us enough. It was an amazing turn out.

On January 25, 2020, President Tayloe presented Sheboygan Area CAP Council President, Tom Stoelb, with the Sheboygan Area CAP Council Lifetime Achievment Award.

Throughout the year, Local 833 active and retired members participate in the Local's raffles. Most the money raised, goes towards scholarships.

On March 2, 2019 we held our annual Casino Night. On May 18th we were very excited to give 8 local charities the profits of that night. Each charity listed received $1,500.

Take Action

The tax credit of an additional $4,500 for union-made electric vehicles made in the U.S. is a win for UAW members, unorganized autoworkers, and the entire labor movement. The provision:

  • Supports the high standards in wages, benefits, and safety that UAW members have bargained for in the auto industry
  • Incentivizes nonunion companies to stop spending millions on union busters and to allow their workers to form their unions freely
  • Encourages U.S. auto manufacturers to bring back jobs they offshored
