Throughout the year, Local 833 active and retired members participate in the Local's raffles. Most the money raised, goes towards scholarships. However, each Committee decided they wanted to give some of it back into the Community. So, the Local decided to do "13 days of Christmas". A total of $7,450.00 was donated back into the Community. Great job, Local 833!! The charities donated to: Salvation Army, Share the Spirit, Sheb. County Food Bank, Meals on Wheels, Safe Harbor, Bridgeway House, Making Spirits Bright, Lakeshore CAP, Sheb. County Veterans Service, Samaritans Hand, The Gathering Place, Camp Y-Koda, & Rainbow Kids.
