National Friendship day encourages people from across the globe to connect with friends. This is the day to make a new friend or connect with an old friend.

Walter Reuther can be said to have done more for more American workers than any other leader in the labor movement.

On May 18th, 2019, Local 833 was proud to present 41 high school or college students with a scholarship. A total of $21,350 was given out. All the money raised for the kids is from raffle sales.

Our solidarity at 833 goes back generations. Thank you to our retirees, if it wasn't for you, WE wouldn't be here!!

"While the UAW welcomes the $700 million in Ohio investment outside of Lordstown, Ohio, it is not forgotten that UAW members, their families and citizens in the Mahoning Valley invested in General Motors in its darkest days to allow for the record profits that GM is making in recent years.
